The Weissenhäuser Strand Baltic Sea resort is a vacation park featuring apartments (no high rises), bungalows, penthouses, and a hotel for guests to stay in. Options for activities include a Subtropical Swimming Paradise, a sports and game center, and spa facilities.

The resort is located 5 km from Oldenburg in Holstein by the "Hochwachter Bucht" (bay), and is surrounded by dunes and a natural landscape. You will also find that a lot of free space with green lawns has been left between each of the apartment buildings.
The beach is 3 km long. At least 400 m of it are reserved for FKK (nude) swimmers. Farther away, there is a military training ground which causes disruptions from time to time. The beach is approximately 150 to 400 meters away from our facilities.
The Baltic Sea spa town
Nature reserves, landscape-conservation areas, meadows, fields and forests are all featured here on the Baltic Sea coast, not far from the region known as "Holsteinische Schweiz" (Swiss-Holstein).
In the community of Wangels, to which the Baltic Sea spa town Weissenhäuser Strand belongs, there were formerly many large estates owning over 1000 hectars of property. The unique dunes in a predestined location on the Hohwachter Bucht (bay) once belonged to the noble family Platen-Hallermund from Weissenhaus.
The resort was constructed on this land between 1970 and 1973. The Weissenhaus estate is only a short walk along the dyke from the resort. Taking a break in the Garten Restaurant is especially worthwhile during strawberry season and while the roses are in bloom. The romantic cliff line begins only a few minutes further away.
